    Damian (13-01-2012)
Hi Jackson, I hope to come to the US with the book some time later this year. At the moment, it's the nearly the only place in the world where you can't get it! Really glad you enjoyed it though. I am just finishing book 2, which is going to be even better than the first! Jake and his friends have to travel back to ancient Rome. Damian

Hello. How many books are planned in this AWESOME series of yours?

    Damian (13-01-2012)
Hi Kirk, there will be at the very least three, but more likely five or six books in the series. The story gets more and more epic as it goes along! Damian

    Damian (27-12-2011)
When I was your age, I used to love the Narnia books, especially the Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It was very magical escaping into that world. I also love Tintin for the adventure and humour. Damian X

Dear Mr. Dibben, I just finished your "The History Keepers: The Storm Begins" and really enjoyed it. The historical references are so intiguing that I want to find more about them, especially those I'm not familiar with. In a novel with teenage protagonists, I also like how well you treat your adult characters. They are more round and function better, rather than just props in the background. When the parrot Mr. Derek was first introduced, somehow it reminded me of the parrot in Treasure Island. Guess that it's probably because it's said to come from West Indies. Best luck with your sequel, and we are all looking forward to it.

    Damian (10-12-2011)
Thanks for your message - I am very pleased you enjoyed the book. Book two is going to be great - with his Jake and his friends going back to Ancient Rome to search for Topaz and once again try and save history as we know it!

    Ian Black (23-11-2011)
Hey Damian! Well, truth be told I noticed a man sitting on the train and was intrigued by the cover of your book. When I found it in Waterstone's I started reading the first chapter I was swiftly moving on to the second, so I said: Right, that's that decided and out came my wallet!! I haven't finished the book yet, but I really love how much passion and enthusiasm you've obviously put in to creating this wondrous tale of adventure and fast-paced action. I'm really looking forward to getting it finished and I'm also waiting on getting my hands on book two of The History Keepers. Is there any possibility of you doing a book signing in Glasgow, Scotland at any time? I'm going to be meeting Brandon Sanderson tomorrow in Edinburgh so I'm really excited about that but if you are doing a signing in Glasgow, please let me know as it'd be really awesome to meet you. Wishing you the best of luck with The History Keeper's series. I cannot wait for book two. Ian

    Damian (05-12-2011)
Hello Ian, thank you so much for your great message. I am really pleased you are enjoying the book. Actually we will be coming up to Scotland next autumn for the release of the second book. I will certainly let you know if we are visiting Glasgow. I think it is likely. All the best for now, Damian

    Tristan (01-10-2011)
Hello Damian...After we met you on the train my mum bought me the History keepers book and I am reading it now. It's really good, it's awesome, I love it! Thanks for signing it for me. Can you please come to my school one day and talk to us about your book. It's Westbury on Trym academy in Bristol. I told my teacher Miss Corner and she said they would love you to visit. I can't wait for the next book... Love Tristan

    Damian (03-10-2011)
Hello Tristan, it's nice to hear from you. I really enjoyed meeting you and your mum on the train - and really pleased that you are enjoying the book! I am going to write down the details of your school and see if I can do a visit in the early part of next year. I like Bristol a lot, so that would be fun. Let me know how you get on with the rest of the book. All the best Damian

    Emily Mockridge (14-09-2011)
i really loved your book it was the best book I've read, i love how it combines Doctor Who and Harry Potter, i love history and i finding it so cool how you combine comedy with learning, but i hate the fact that your only writing three books YOU HAVE GOT TO WRITE MORE THAN THAT, you have write the MORE history keeper books than there are Harry Potter books YOU HAVE TO!!!!!!!!!!!

    Damian (18-09-2011)
Thank Emily! Very flattering comments. And don't worry, if people are enjoying the books, I will certainly be trying to write more than three. All the best for now Damian

    Max imilion (06-09-2011)
Hi Damian, Thank you so very much for giving me a signed copy of "The History Keepers." I LOVE the book so much I cant stop reading it again. I am so happy and excited to read your next volume. Mum and I are talking about how lucky I am to even have a copy when it has not been released into the U.S.A. All the characters are so descriptive and fantastic it feels as though they can jump out of the book and walk the marvelous streets of planet earth. My favorite character is Jake. The entire plot of the story is brilliant and mind boggling, it is a book that I can sit in front of the fire with, holding a hot cup of joe in my hand. I LOVE THE BOOK!!!!!!! its epic. Hope to see you soon, your family friend, Max :) P.S. Bibi says hi and misses you.

    Damian (08-09-2011)
Hello Max, it is so nice to hear from you. I am really thrilled you are enjoying reading the book a second time! Perhaps you will be able to spot some things that you didn't notice the first time. Let me know if you do. I was sorry not to see you in London, but I am sure we will see each other again soon. I am busy writing Book 2 at the moment - Circus Maximus. I think it might be more exciting than even the first; as Jake and his friends head to ancient Rome to stop the despicable Agata Zeldt from taking over the Roman army. There will be a breathtaking chariot race in Circus Maxims stadium. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Please keep writing! Damian xx

    Carl Marsh (05-09-2011)
Hi Damian can you please let me know how I can locate or obtain some signed first editions? Or failing that, can I purchase some from Amazon and have them sent to say, your publishers/agent for them to be signed/dated/quoted etc...? Carl

    Damian (09-09-2011)
Hi Carl, I'm afraid Damian is really busy at the moment getting ready for the official launch. Where abouts do you live. He is going on a book tour and may be nearby. Failing that I'll speak to him about what he want to do about signing requests..

    Robert Majure (05-09-2011)

    Rachel Beaufort (25-08-2011)
Of all the places you have visited in the world, where do you most find inspiring?

    Damian (26-08-2011)
I have just been in Rome, researching for the second book. That is a very inspiring city! It's amazing to think that the senate house that Julius Caesar built is still standing - it even has a roof. Magical

    Maria Jenkins (23-08-2011)
My Mum had to review this book for a magazine. She loved it and gave it to me as soon as she'd finished it. I really loved it and wanted to congratulate you. What is upsetting though is that I have to wait 12 months before I get the next installment. I'm trying to persuade my Mum to bring me to London for the 31st.. maybe we could say hello.. I loved the Harry Potter films, I hope Working Title will keep it british. Maria. Age 12. A History Keepers Champion.

    Damian (23-08-2011)
Hello Maria, thank you so much for the comments and for taking the time to read the book. I'm busy writing the second installment which will hit the shelves this time next year. If you manage to persuade your parents to bring you to London please come and say hello. It would be lovely to meet you, Best Wishes, Damian :)
